DESTRY IS LOOKING BETTER AND BETTER ON HOPE (Hamiltons Hopeful Lass) THIS WINTER. HE WILL BE NINE IN FEB. AND HE IS FINALLY STARTING TO BE MORE FOCUSED ON MAKING HER LOOK GOOD INSTEAD OF JUST HAVING FUN. DOMINGO (Flash's March Sunset) IS COMING ON FINE. HE HASN'T BEEN MUCH TROUBLE AT ALL. HE HASN'T BEEN ANYWHERE YET; I IMAGINE WE WILL START TAKING HIM ON DAY TRIPS IN THE SPRING. WE CALL HIM OUR TEENY-TINY THREAT. Flash's Champagne Threat (THREAT) age 2 Hamiltons Hopeful Lass (HOPE) age 3 Flashs March Sunset (DOMINGO) age 1 Bragg about Flash's Makin Tracks Tracks is like no other horse I have ever owned. You did not even come close to seeing the "Real Deal" when he was at your house. Infact I don't think no-one really ever has but me. He is clearly the sweetest horse and I really do not believe he could have a mean bone in his body toward me. I was out today with Chaser and wasn't really going to devote any one on one time with Tracks but before it was all over, he had me loving on him too. LOL! Anyhow, Tracks is such an affectionate horse. He truly does LOVE me...I can tell. He loves to put his neck over my shoulders like he wants me to just hug him...and of course I do and I believe he could stay like that all day long. He is so funny because he gives me kisses..he will turn his head just a little and touch me around my face like he is kissing me.. I know he could literally destroy me with one quick bite,...but I don't believe he would. I think he thinks of me as his human! LOL! There is just something about his face....he has a way of just looking at people and calling them over to him. Okay..I am done bragging on my boy. Tammy <>< This Bragg is from Joshua Aldridge Vonda, Hope got first place in the youth class with Destry riding him. Threat got first place in the men's class with me riding him. I saddled him & Lee worked with him. After that I got on him & Lee gave me pony rides around the round pen. He was very good! Here's a couple of pictures that turned out good in case you want to share them with anyone else. Patty HEY VONDA, THIS IS JUST A LINE TO LET YOU KNOW HOW PROUD AND EXCITED WE ARE FOR DOMINGO AND JORDAN. THEY WILL BE THE FIRST PAIR IN THE HISTORY OF SHELBY COUNTY 4-H TO ATTEND THE SOUTHERN REGIONAL COMPETION. THEY DID GREAT AT THE DISTRICT, BUT WE ARE REALLY AMAZED WITH THEIR SUCCESS AT THE STATE LEVEL. THIS IS JORDAN'S FIRST YEAR AND AS YOU WELL KNOW POOR DOMINGO IS ONLY A TWO YEAR OLD! THEY PLACED WELL IN BOTH BAREBACK AND SHOWMANSHIP WITH THE BIGGEST SUPRISE COMING AS A 3RD PLACE IN THE STATE FROM A FIELD OF 32 HORSES IN THEIR PLEASURE RACKING CLASS. JORDAN WAS THE RESERVE HIGH POINTS CHAMPION FOR HIS AGE GROUP.HE AND DOMINGO WILL BE SPORTING A NEW COAT THIS FALL WITH THEIR NAMES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS LISTED ON IT. THEY ARE BOTH QUITE PROUD OF THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS TO DATE AND VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REGIONALS IN RALEIGH. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT! ANGELA HAMILTON STABLES NORTH (HA-HA!) Dear Vonda, Thank you so much for Rogue. We just love him! Isnt the picture of him with our friends daughter Vera just precious? He is unbelievably trusting. He is just a sweet wonderful horse and a joy to be around. He is fun to watch play, extremely curious, and very energetic. He fits right in with our two TWH geldings that are both 6 years old: Poison, a 16h black and Shiloh, a 15.2 Red Roan built like a tank. Rogue knows his place but is never afraid to push the limits with them. He has actually brought our Shiloh out of his shell and given him a playmate. Rogue loves adults, dogs, other horses, and children (& food!). He leads, bathes, clips, and gets his feet trimmed like a big boy already at 5 mos. If his gaits finish like what he does in the field well all be fighting over who gets to ride him! Thanks again for such a wonderful horse! Lee and Diane Towne Clifton, VA This Bragg is about LIBERTY by: Gena I've got to show off MY cute, sweet, mischievous, WILLING, athletic teenager. This was Liberty's third jump under saddle, except for when she has surprised me by jumping over small sticks and ditches out on trail rides. She loves to jump, and loves to trot over poles. And, she's gaiting up a storm these days, too. Bob M, the trainer whose place she lives at, tells me that one of the reasons she is gaiting so well is that she knows I like for her to do that. She's also learning to play "Toss the Halter Down" and other assorted tricks. This bragg is about Scout ( Dream) and Mystic. Hi Vonda, I just wanted to share this picture with you of Scout meeting his new sissy, Mystic. I think it turned out really good! You can see what a handsome young man Scout has turned into and what a cutie his little sister is! Take care! Patty This Brag is about Flash's Champagne Topaz HS Hi everyone, Guess whose in North Dakota? Flash's Champagne Topaz HS has arrived home. She came during a bitter colt snap that lasted for a week and a half. It's been a couple weeks now, and we've warmed up enough that yesterday she got to be out without her blanket on. She is all that I could have wanted her to be and so much more! Thank you Vonda for breeding such a wonderful filly! She's sweet, friendly, athletic and elegant. Her personality is one of curiousity and she's absolutely delightful to be around. (We may have to get another foal from Vonda, some day, as my fiance just loves her-but she's MINE! LOL!) She's quite the 'looker' with her long swan neck, beautiful small head, large eye. Her legs are long and she knows how to use them! She can stop on a dime-put any good reiner to shame. :-) Gaits, gaits, GAITS! She floats across the snow. Her long legs go way up under herself as she smoothly transfer's her weight from one foot to the other. Her back does not bounce (what so ever) and her head is held high. I've seen her rack (strong, fast and correct, she does not lose form with speed-and man can she cruise!), pace, trot, shuffle and running walk. Vonda sent every registry form (there's at least five of them), filled out, with photo's attached, all ready to go and instructions for each of them. What a RELIEF that was! I want to thank her for spending time raising Topaz to be her sweet, respectful, friendly self. I've so enjoyed the CD of photo's and the video's of her sire and her. The one of her just born, is my very favorite. They are priceless to me! It's so nice to see these babies, from birth to when you buy them. It's also reassuring to know that they have been raised right and had alot of hands on, and love. It really shows. Vicky CHARLESTON CHAMPAGNE FIZZ Here is just a note to let you know how Dakota is doing. Well first and for most he is great. He has a 25 acre farm he is staying on with to field buddies, one Stallion and the other a gelding. These three are like the three amigos. Dakota is a riot. He is the local comedian and just makes everyone laugh. The looks on his face when playing with the other horses and the just the things he is so curious about. He has become a great horse. He does great on the trails and in the fields. He is as bomb proof as they get. We ride the road with cars, bikes and other vehicles going by and he keeps doing what he does best. For the last month he has been in training for Hunter Pace competition. Under the tutelage of Julie, he and I have become quite a team. We had our first competition yesterday ( April 1 ). He was great. (Hunter paces are timed events through fields, creeks, and the woods.) We of course did the flat course. It was about an 8 mile course that we finished ahead of the pack. Julie and I were teamed. She was on her thoroughbred mare. Dakota really had to work to keep up with her. He cantered and racked for 8 miles. His cross country training paid off. All though this was the furthest he had ever been that fast he gave me all his heart. He was tired at the end. But he was back to his old self within a few minutes eating grass and just being Dakota. I have attached a few pictures of him and I so you can see. Just a note to say hello and show you Chas (Dakota). Best Regards, Chris Lane Baylee is the most sweetest and loving horse I have ever owned. By saying that, I mean when I go outside and she see's me, here she comes. She always follows me around in and out of the pasture. Sometimes I will be working in the yard and she will just stand nearby with me. Other than being so loving, she LOVES to EAT...LOL!! Baylee is a very affectionate she always stands with me and especially when Sterling is around. He likes to play to ruff at times and she feels protected with I'm there. The day Baylee was born, I knew in my heart she was meant to be with me. She will always hold a very special place in my heart. When her feet are being trimmed she does an excellent job, she never gets impatient. She lets me lay down with her on the ground and pet her. What more could I ever ask for. Lisa <>< Vonda, I just wanted to share with you all the many compliments I get on Cadence from visitors, family, friends, and just people driving by and stopping to look. She is just stunningly gorgious. And she is just as sweet and mellow as the day is long. I really made an excellent choice when I bought Cadence. She is perfect in every way! Thanks!
